LOS POPULARES PROPONEN CAPTURA, ESTERILIZACIÓN Y RETORNO PARA LAS COLONIAS FELINAS Y EXENCIÓN DEL IBI PARA AGRICULTORES Y GANADEROS
El grupo municipal del PP en el Ayuntamiento de Alcázar de San Juan presentará el próximo martes, en el Pleno correspondiente al mes de septiembre, dos mociones basadas en dos asuntos que, según su portavoz, Eduardo García Villajos, preocupan a los vecinos de esta localidad, recogidas por el PP dentro de su hoja de ruta de escuchar a los vecinos para trasladar al consistorio sus propuestas en forma de moción (110 mociones en la actual legislatura, según ha dicho)..
La primera de estas mociones trata de favorecer a los agricultores y ganaderos que han visto cómo disminuyen sus ingresos, con una exención en el IBI Rústica que, según García-Villajos, ya recoge el Real Decreto de Medidas Urgentes para paliar la sequía aprobado por el Estado, donde se habilita a los Ayuntamientos para que tal exención sea una posibilidad y se aplique incluso con carácter retroactivo.
Y la segunda, persigue mejorar la gestión y solucionar el problema de los gatos callejeros en el municipio, donde, según el portavoz popular, existen problemas en determinadas zonas con las colonias felinas por una mala gestión. Colonias que, según García Villajos, están generando malos olores e insalubridad a los vecinos. «Un grupo de voluntarias se ha puesto en contacto con nosotros para poner sobre la mesa este problema…De lo primero que se quejan es de que nadie les ha querido atender en el Ayuntamiento, ni en la Concejalía de Medio Ambiente ni en la Alcaldía.. Nuestra moción pide que se aplique el método CER, captura, esterilización y retorno del gato… No se trata de exterminar las colonias de forma violenta, sino de practicar un método que evita que cada vez vayan existiendo más crías, mediante la gestión ética. Y además proponemos que se haga desde el Ayuntamiento contando con la protectora, con voluntarios y vecinos, porque eso además de generar un ánimo de colaboración, ayuda a sensibilizar a la ciudadanía… Las colonias de gato no se combaten con veneno ni con repelentes, sino con ese método CER», ha explicado.
En ambas cuestiones, IBI y colonias felinas, ha criticado la «falta de trabajo» de Rosa Melchor, de quien ha dicho que «es una imagen fiel de Pedro Sánchez y de un sanchismo que es contra el que estamos trabajando, porque queremos pasar página y que Sánchez y Melchor tengan el mismo futuro, irse fuera».
