Pablo Conde y Fran I. Periáñez presentaron ayer en Madrid el cómic Miguel Ángel de la Guarda. La Casa del Libro prestó sus instalaciones a un numeroso grupo de personas, interesados en conocer este cómic, sí como charlar con los autores.
La presentación del acto corrió a cabo de la periodista de Antena3, Mercedes Martín.
A preguntas de Martín, Pablo Conde y Fran I. Periáñez comentaron que el cómic ha sido un trabajo de ocho años, “hasta sacarlo tal cual como lo tenemos hoy”, pero que ha merecido la pena. También mostraron su compromiso con las personas mayores.
Al acto también asistió el Padre Ángel, fundador de Mensajeros de la Paz. En unas breves palabras agradeció a los autores su colaboración con la ONG, pues una parte del precio del cómic va destinado a ella. Recordó que Mensajeros de la Paz lleva ayudando a los más necesitados más de 60 años, e informó que recientemente se han cumplido veinticinco años del Teléfono Dorado, en el cual se atienden a personas que sufren de un mal de nuestro tiempo, la soledad.
Los autores dieron las gracias a todas las personas y empresas de Alcázar de San Juan que han colaborado en la edición del cómic, entre otras, Juan Bautista Mata de Industrias Gráficas Mata.
Pablo Conde y Fran I. Periáñez recordaron que para ellos estar en La Casa del Libro presentado el cómic es un logro muy importante, y a una pregunta de un asistente a Pablo Conde sobre si llevaría la historia de Miguel Ángel de la Guarda al cine, contestó con buen humor que “no lo descarto, pero dejaremos pasar un tiempo….”
Finalizó el acto con la firma de ejemplares por los autores.
