Más de 2000 participantes en esta undécima edición que ha contado con rotundo éxito
Y Jesús Merino y Carolina Notario vencedores de la prueba maratón de 100 km
El ciclista profesional natural de la vecina localidad de Pedro Muñoz, Marcos Jurado Rodríguez y la ciclista del Tungui Luisa Cuenco Ruiz fueron los vencedores absolutos de la prueba ultra maratón de la Titán de la Mancha 2022. En la prueba de Maratón, el ex ciclista profesional Jesús Merino Criado y la ciclista Carolina Notario Monreal fueron los ganadores de esta undécimo edición que contó con un rotundo éxito de participación y organización.
Alcázar de San Juan acogió dese primera hora de este sábado la undécima edición de la Titán de La Mancha, una prueba de bicicleta de montaña, consolidada en el calendario nacional, que está dentro del TOP 10 de las mejores del territorio nacional, y que volvía a celebrarse tras dos años de obligada parada por la pandemia y el COVID.
El concejal de Deportes del Ayuntamiento de Alcázar de San Juan, Javier Ortega, acompañado por los responsables del CD Alcázar Bikes, organizador del evento, asistió a la salida de la prueba ultra maratón de 200km que tuvo lugar a las 6:30 de la madrugada. Una prueba en la que tomaron la salida un total de 287 participantes de los que 208 consiguieron llegar a línea de meta.
Una hora y media más tarde, la alcaldesa de Alcázar de San Juan, Rosa Melchor acompañada por el concejal de Deportes, Javier Ortega y responsables del CD Alcázar Bikes, dieron la salida tras el tradicional corte de cinta de la prueba Maratón en la que tomaron la salida 1.323 participantes de los que 1.118 entraron en línea de meta, según las clasificaciones oficiales de la prueba.
La distancia ultra maratón constó de 212 kilómetros y 2.800 metros de desnivel acumulado, con salida a las seis y media de la mañana. La maratón fueron 109 kilómetros con 880 metros de desnivel acumulado, con salida a las 8 de la mañana.
En la distancia ultra maratón, el ciclista profesional pedroteño Marcos Jurado (Electro Hiper Europa) se adjudicó la victoria con un tiempo de 8:37.42, el mismo que el segundo clasificado, Aitor Safont (Inbike), disputándose el triunfo en el sprint final y por media rueda de diferencia. Completó el podio José Carlos Núñez (Benferri) con un tiempo de 8:45.17. En féminas la primera fue Tungui Luisa Cuenco Ruiz con un tiempo de 10:48.30, segunda Nerea García (Galgos) con 12:38.53 y tercera Lorena Jiménez Caballero con 12.00.28.
En la distancia maratón, el ganador fue el ex ciclista profesional natural de Manzanares, Jesús Merino Criado, que superó al sprint a Luis Alberto Martínez (Bicicletas Pina) con un tiempo de 3:51.48, tercero fue Miguel Ángel Montañés (Alcázar Bikes) con 3:53.25. En féminas, las tres primeras de la general fueron Carolina Notario (Cosfym) con un tiempo de 4:50.10, Carmen María Mendoza (Ekuon) con 5:03.20 y Ana Carolina González (Yecla) con 5:14.55. Inmaculada Rodrigo (Tom Bike Tomelloso) fue la primera Máster 30 con 5:31.05.
La prueba discurrió por lugares emblemáticos de la comarca de La Mancha como los molinos de Alcázar de San Juan, Campo de Criptana, Herencia y Puerto Lápice, Consuegra, etc así como los altos del Reventón, Calderina y Fuente El Fresno, en el caso de la ultra maratón.
En cuando a la participación local que fue muy numerosa, destacar la excelente cuarta posición del ciclista sub-23, Carlos Ajenjo Muñoz, la duodécima de Héctor López García del Pulgar y la vigésimo sexta de Roberto Ramos Ramírez, en la prueba ultra maratón, al igual que la 14ª de Roberto Vergara Jiménez y la 15ª de Rubén Pinar Lorente en la prueba maratón.
El momento más emotivo de la maratoniana jornada, tuvo lugar cuando la organización, entregó unos merecidos reconocimientos a título póstumo in memoriam, a los familiares de tres personas, impulsores, promotores y colaboradores de la Titán de la Mancha y que por diferentes motivos, perdieron la vida en estos últimos años, Jesús Abengózar, Manuel Carrasco y María Carmen Gallego. La alcaldesa de Alcázar de San Juan, Rosa Melchor y el periodista deportivo, Chema del Olmo, que participó en la prueba de 100 km fueron los encargados.
La organización también se acordó de aquellos participantes que conseguían realizar la prueba en handbike y aquellos con capacidades diferentes, los cuáles se llevaron la ovación y el aplauso de todos los presentes.
A la entrega de trofeos asistió la alcaldesa de Alcázar de San Juan, Rosa Melchor, acompañada por el Director General de Deportes, Carlos Yuste, el vicepresidente de la Diputación de Ciudad Real, Gonzalo Redondo, el concejal de Deportes, Javier Ortega, y la concejala de Servicios Sociales, Patricia Benito, así como el presidente del CD Alcázar Bikes, José Luis Pinar Lorente y varios de los responsables de su club.
Las autoridades quisieron felicitar al CD Alcázar Bikes por la magnífica organización de este evento deportivo que ha cumplido su undécima edición con la participación de más de dos mil ciclistas. Felicitaciones dirigidas también a voluntarios, cuerpos de seguridad, Cruz Roja y Protección Civil que han formado parte del dispositivo junto con el Ayuntamiento de Alcázar de San Juan.
